Reliable determination of the response of soil organic carbon decomposition to temperature is critical
in the context of global warming. However, uncertainties remain in estimating the sensitivity of soil respiration to soil temperature, which may be due in part to different experimental conditions to investigate the possible
effects of temperature effects of temperature on the estimated value of Q10, soil samples taken from the trial itself have been incubated at the Experimental Farm “La Hampa” Coria del Río (Seville) at changing temperatures with different experimental conditions (two different field capacities).
