Under the title “Leading the transition to healthy soils”, the European Soil Mission Week took place from November 21 to 23, 2023.
The event took place in Madrid, Spain. It was organized by the European Commission’s Directorate General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI) in the context of the Soil Mission, together with the EU-funded PREPSOIL project and the Joint Research Center – EU Soil Observatory (EUSO).
The European Soil Mission Week brought together Mission stakeholders and projects, giving visibility to the importance of soil protection, restoration and monitoring, and discussed the actions and solutions needed to move towards more sustainable land management.
Drs. Engracia Madejón and Marco Panettieri were present to provide their point of view and contextualize in the framework of our project.
